really?

this is a biff the iphone shot of the 1st national bank building in downtown st paul from the other night.  (side story – you should see how exceedingly fucking difficult it is to drive around downtown st paul where cb and i live due to the republifuck convention).

does projecting an amaerican flag image against a building automatically make you patriotic?

is this really necessary?

is this what i have to look forward to for the next week?

ugg.

There have been online reports of police raids on peaceful protesters.

Has the mainstream media in Minnesota been reporting on this?

I feel sorry for you. Maybe they will all go shopping at the Mall of America. Hang in there.

  3. OMG I am SO EXCITED for the GOP convention. It’s going to be the bitchiest bitchfest in the history of bitchfests (and that’s saying something, because I’ve been to a huge Indigo Girls concert where a bunch of lesbians couldn’t get in–talk about bitchfest).

And in answer to your question: YES. In the history of Our Nation, SHOWING support (ie; a giant flag on a building) is much more important than ACTUAL support. Look at those ‘Support the Troops’ ribbon bumperstickers. If you aren’t sporting one of those, you’re a terrorist, plain and simple.

It’s not as nice as the spray painted flags on the grass near the airport… but it’ll do.

it offends me to no end that this …pile of shit …is happening in my former hometown. and add to that my employer ( based in mpls) has a guide for employees that want to join in the convention posted on their website that i have to look at repeatedly every day.
